THE OLD MARKET ST SWING BAND is a four piece band featuring vocals, mandolin, guitar, bass and drums.This captivating band plays swing/jazz and blues from the 40's to the present day. Less than a year old the band has already earned a loyal following in it's native town of Sligo, Ireland, where they play a weekly gig in Connolly's Pub on Fridays at 5.30pm.
The band is an eclectic mix of music styles and experience. Band members have played or toured with many highly respected singers and musicians including:

They have also played festivals such as Celtic Connections,Galway Arts Festival, Cork Folk festival, Belfast Folk festival, The Boys Of Balisodare, The Derry Jazz festival, Sligo Jazz festival, Boyle Arts festival, and Sligo Live, They have appeared on television programmes such as The Late Late Show, Festival Folk and As I Roved out.
All this experience and more comes together to produce an engaging and heart warming sound guaranteed to have you tapping and dancing.
